Last Sunday, I was with my family at SM City after attending the 11AM service at Victory Iloilo and was killing time before our 2:30PM Victory Group with some couples at church. Me and my wife decided to pass by an ATM to withdraw some money so we passed by one and my wife (who handles our finances) put in the card. After a few minutes of waiting I got curious why it was taking my wife so long to withdraw. (more…)

If you got married in the last five years, then you’ve probably heard of and even studied Gary Chapman’s “The Five Love Languages.” Me and Ces did, and it was a tremendous help to understanding each other and God’s ultimate plan for marriage. I love studying love languages and highly recommend it to other couples who are married and about to get married.
2010 was not a very good year for me. Although that was the year that I had accomplished so much in life, it was also the time that I had lost so much. At the age of twenty, I had the opportunity of successfully starting a business, winning a prestigious award as one of the best Marketers of the country and all this after dropping out of college. The world considers the word “repent” as the most dirty things Christians say. Most people would cringe at the mention of that word because we often picture out a street preacher angrily shouting out to bystanders how sinful and hell-worthy they are when we hear someone say it. (more…)
Just this week, we finally completed the purchase and transfer of ownership of our house after almost one year of getting everything necessary for it to happen. The process was challenging, tedious, and at many points frustrating (considering the property was not a clean title), but looking back at all of the things that happened it was all worth it. (more…)
